Finance Business Partner

This is a Fixed Term, Salaried vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx:xx} BST.

This person will support the Head of Finance to deliver outstanding finance services for internal and external stakeholders by acting as the first point of contact for managers across the business, supporting business decisions with financial insights, proactively supporting other teams to achieve their objectives, interpreting financial information, and highlighting financial risk while ensuring compliance with relevant internal and external regulations.

The role is required to enable the team to support the implementation of new ICT systems.

Job requirements:

  • Understand the business strategy and collaborate with colleagues to align financial goals with strategic objectives.
  • Provide data led insights to influence business decisions, helping improve performance and efficiency.
  • Provide a focus on budgeting, planning and forecasting and performance reporting.
  • To manage resources to ensure that services are resilient and colleagues can cover for each other.
  • Build business partner relationships with all stakeholders.

What we’re looking for:

  • A positive attitude to change and excellent communication skills.
  • A recognised accountancy qualification.
  • An ability to be adaptable, innovative and proactive when dealing with colleagues.
  • An ability to communicate complex concepts and ideas to non-finance professionals.
  • Knowledge of the services they need to support in the role.
  • Strong collaborative and teamworking skills.
  • A good understanding of record keeping, appropriate audit trails and good financial controls framework.
  • Ability to maintain good financial stewardship and compliance with financial regulations and other policy requirements.
